Digital Product Passport Webinar Series 1 - What is DPP and where does it come from?

A Digital Product Passport is a digital, standardised set of product data that can be accessed throughout a product’s lifecycle, from manufacturing to recycling, through a unique identifier such as a QR code, RFID or NFC tag.

In this session, we explain where DPP comes from, how it connects to the EU Green Deal, the Circular Economy Action Plan and ESPR, and which product groups are expected to be affected first. We also look at what kind of data needs to be included, who is responsible for maintaining it, and why early preparation can create a competitive advantage.
